Casale Madre

Casale Madre is an old country house restored following the canons of Ostuni architecture and introducing design codes in harmony with the landscape.

The house is 250 square metres in size and extends over two areas. On the ground floor there is a bedroom and its relative bathroom that includes a Turkish bath and a private veranda for guests to relax.  Also on the same floor are 2 living rooms paved with the original ancient chianche tiles, one of which is equipped with a fireplace, a large dining table and a relaxation area with comfortable sofas and TV, and a convenient service bathroom. The kitchen, which is habitable, is equipped with state-of-the-art appliances and makes it possible to organise pleasant dinners and lunches. On the ground floor there is also a laundry room with a washing machine and dryer. On the first floor are two further large bedrooms with their bathrooms, equipped with bathtubs and experience showers. The first floor has parquet flooring on the ground floor to ensure maximum comfort for guests. The bathrooms are all made of earthenware, a traditional and completely organic material. The house has 2 large outdoor living areas, one of which has a patio with a comfortable sofa and large dining table. The furnishings of the house consist of unique designer pieces and antique furniture inherited from the owners' noble family and restored for the occasion. The colours chosen for the walls and bathrooms derive from the play of light that the Apulian earth forms with white lime: hence the choice of pink walls and terracotta bathtubs. 

Outside is the 40 square metre swimming pool, equipped with a geyser and hydromassage. The pool can be heated on request and for a fee. Outside there is also a shower and bath for pool guests.

Casale Madre is set in 4 hectares of land planted with ancient olive and almond trees. There is also a vegetable garden and the possibility of harvesting seasonal produce.
